--- Summary ---

In this video, I share my personal insights and self-care tips for busy working parents and business owners. Self-care is an important part of achieving work-life harmony and personal fulfillment. I address some common questions I hear from my coaching clients about finding time for self-care and practical advice based on my own experiences.

Self-Care Tips to achieve work/life harmony:

  1. Meditation/Deep Breathing: Start with short meditation sessions, or breathing exercises, and stay committed to the practice for improved calmness and presence.

  2. Spending Time Outdoors: Get outside in the sun for at least 10 minutes daily or find alternative ways to connect with nature for energy and sleep benefits.

  3. Journaling/Reflection: Journal in the morning and evening to clear thoughts, celebrate wins, express gratitude, and identify challenges for self-awareness and growth.

  4. Tech-Free Time: Set aside time every day to go screen-free, promoting family connection, relaxation, and improved energy levels.

  5. Creating a Self-Care Habits List: Identify personal self-care habits that energize and recharge you, such as listening to energizing music, indulging in relaxing activities, engaging in creative pursuits, and socializing with supportive peers. This is your personal list, so make it work for you!

  6. Scheduling Self-Care: Schedule your self-care activities in advance to ensure consistency and commitment, especially for busy individuals balancing work and family responsibilities.
